Found Poem
10/11/2017

Hope
We breathed in air filled with fire and smoke, and our eyes shone with hope
Wide, dreamy eyes gazing off into the distance
Tears like drops of wax, flowed from his eyes
My soul had been invaded--and devoured--by a black flame
Only now did I feel the full extent of my weakness
Time had slowed down
They did bring peace

Never shall I forget the nocturnal silence

  1. Miranda, I absolutely love your poem. It is well put together and makes you think. I really like all the phrases you used.

  2. Miranda, Even thought your poem is very, you have a lot of feeling. I can also tell that (i think) you were going for the topic of hope, but you really got a good grasp on you poem.
